Sometimes also called cantaro. It was a ceramic container, usually enamelled, used in the past for needs, especially during the cold winter nights. In Puglia the chamber pots are about 40 cm high, usually made of clay with small handles and enamelled. Although the most common and recent ones are enamelled in white, the older ones were a marbled brown color.
